KCOI Fundraiser at Two Brothers Roundhouse

12/18/2018

Kids’ Chance of Illinois would like to sincerely thank The Roundhouse in Aurora for partnering with us to host the last KCOI fundraising event of 2018. Nearly 40 participants joined us in the beautifully decorated, festive room to celebrate the holidays and paint bottles with birch trees accented by cork bottle lights. The painting instruction was provided via a charity collaboration effort with Sip Parties who kindly donated the majority of the proceeds to KCOI.

This event was made complete in partnership with our drink sponsor, One Call and our dessert sponsor, CorVel. We truly appreciate the outreach of both of these companies for making this a fun filled holiday party for all who attended.

Last, but not least were the raffle prizes that were kindly donated by the following:
  • Coopershawk gift set – Jennifer Wright
  • $25 Target gift card – Athletico
  • $25 Darden Restaurants gift card – Encore Nursing
  • $50 Amazon gift card – CompAlliance

CONGRATS to our winners and thank you to everyone who purchased the KCOI decorated glasses and raffle tickets.

To top off the evening, everyone was blessed with the attendance of one of our very own KCOI recipients. Heidi’s story is very heart felt explaining what the KCOI scholarship means to her and her family, which was shared by all in attendance. Words cannot express our thankfulness to all KCOI supporters, who have donated their time and money to continue the fundraising efforts supporting these kids in need. Illinois is the 3rd largest state of Kids’ Chance scholarships in the nation and we are heading into 2019 with 23 qualified applicants. Please continue to help support and further our mission to help award education scholarships to all of our deserving kids who will someday be our future leaders.

Happy Holidays to Everyone on behalf of the very, very grateful KCOI board.

PS…Be on the lookout for event information for a Valentine’s Eve party in Lisle sponsored by Athletico in support of Kids’ Chance of Illinois.
